Privacy Policy
Last updated September 15, 2026
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing reaches our servers until you sign in and save a scenario. And you can delete all of it in one click, at any time.
Who is responsible
NettoMe (nettome.pl) is operated by NettoMe (nettome.pl), the controller of the personal data described here. For anything concerning your data, write to privacy@nettome.pl.
What we collect, and when
- When you sign in with Google: your Google account identifier, email address and display name, as Google provides them. We also set a session cookie so you stay signed in if you reload the page; it lets us recognise your browser and is not shared with anyone else.
- When you save a scenario: the figures you entered (income, expenses, ZUS status, reliefs claimed, and your spouse’s income if you entered one for joint filing), the results computed from them, and the name you gave the scenario.
- When you export a PDF: the document itself, stored privately and deleted automatically after 7 days.
- On every request to our API: technical logs (IP address, time, endpoint, response status), kept 7 days for security and troubleshooting.
- Nothing else. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, no profiling, and no automated decision-making.
A joint-filing scenario contains someone else’s income. Enter it only if you may. It is deleted together with the scenario, and with your account.
Why we are allowed to (legal bases)
- Your account and saved scenarios: performance of the contract you enter into by using the service. GDPR art. 6(1)(b).
- Request logs and rate limiting: our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and free of abuse. GDPR art. 6(1)(f).
How long we keep it
Your profile and scenarios stay until you delete them or delete your account (there is no expiry, because a saved scenario is only useful if it is still there next year. PDF exports are deleted after 7 days, request logs after 7 days, and your session cookie expires after 30 days of inactivity) signing in again after that is all that is needed.
Where it is stored
In the European Union: Amazon Web Services, Frankfurt (eu-central-1). Signing in involves Google, which may process that step outside the EEA under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its standard contractual clauses.
Who else sees it
Two processors: Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage) and Google (sign-in). Nobody else. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s purposes. When you ask for today’s exchange rate, our own server fetches it from the National Bank of Poland. The request carries nothing about you, and your browser never contacts them.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable form.
Erasure needs no request: “Delete my account” on the Scenarios page removes your profile, every saved scenario and every export, immediately and permanently. For anything else, write to privacy@nettome.pl. We answer within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
Cookies and browser storage
If you sign in, we set one cookie of our own: a session cookie that keeps you signed in across a page reload. It cannot be read by any script, including ours, and is sent only to our own API. Your chosen interface language is kept in your browser’s local storage. Beyond the session cookie, your sign-in access token is held in memory only. Google sets its own cookies on its own domains as part of signing you in.
While you are filling in the calculator, the figures you enter (including your spouse’s income, if you entered one) are kept in your browser’s session storage so that reloading the page does not lose your work. They stay on your device, are never sent to us, and are erased when you close the tab.
Changes
If this policy changes in any way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
